ASCOT PARK BOOKMAKERS ARE HARD HIT. Borghesi Easily Wins the Ascot Handicap Another Big Day for "Boots" Durnell Los Angeles, Cal., February 3. Borghesi, entirely neglected In the betting, simply smothered his opponents in the Ascot Handicap, fairly losing Dr. Leggo and Eugenia Burch. A large floral wreath was placed over his neck after the victory. C. K. Durnell was twice successful this afternoon. Hs newly acquired Money Muss and Vino were the winners. Both were backed heavily and were splendidly ridden by Miller. The bookmakers were hit hard in five out of six races, few escaping heavy losses. Wm. McKinney bid up J. J.
