Sneer ran to his best form, wore down the leaders in the last furlong and won drawing away. Tom Bone came from a long way back in the stretch and, finishing with a rush, got up in the final stride. Kingswalden. under poor handling, had a rough trip, finished fast and can do better. Swing Corners showed much speed, but tired in the last furlong. McJetta ran well to the stretch, then quit badly. Mike Sutton ran a sparkling race, was under restraint all the way and, with good handling, would, in all probability, have won. Anna Karenina tired badly in the last furlong. High Tide ran poorly. Mirthless, lucky throughout and hard ridden, ran well and outlasted Gisbock. The latter suffered from interference and ran a good race. Buxom had a rough trip. Mafalda broke lully in motion and raced with the leaders for the first furlong, when Radtke pulled In to the rail, forcing Loricate and Platoon back, flashed into a long lead thereafter and was never seriously menaced. Loricate showed fiidden Improvement In speed and but for interference might have won. Mordella closed a big gap irom a flow beginning and outgamed the badly ridden Platoon.
