LENS WINS LOUISIANA STAKES. New Orleans. La., March 3. Lens made good the claims of Pat Dunne that he has the most promising two-year-old at City Park by beating the liest band of youngsters that has gone to the post at the new track this winter in the Louisiana Stakes this afternoon. Lens showed a rare turn of speed and held his opponents safe at all stages of the journey. Karama, after a rough trip, managed to finish second a neck in front of Chamhlet. Obert who. had the mount on Karama claimed foul against Lens. He said that the winner crossed over in front of him at the stretch turn.
