RALBERT WINS THE FEATURE AT OAKLAND. Deutschland Suffers From the Hot Pace Only Two Public Choices are Successful. San Francisco, Cal., March C. Prince Magnet and Blumeutlial were the only winning public choices at Oakland this afternoon. Barney Schreibers Deutschland, carrying a big stable commission, performed ingloriously in todays stake feature, the Favor Handicap. Ralbert, from the start, carried the son of Sain along at a fast clip, and he gave it up at the end of a half mile, being passed by both Toco-law and St. George Jr. JlcCaffertys recent purchase, after shaking off the favaorite, went on and won at odds of 20 to 1. He received little or no support and after the race the layers were left witli practically clean sheets. Horace E., Tony Faust, and four others of Schreibers Ascot Park establishment, have arrived at Oakland. W. A. Wheelock, brother to the former "Mets" president, is a recent arrival. Prince Magnet was bid up froin 00 to 00 after the third race. His owners bought him in. judge George G. Perkins, foruier controlling owner of the Latonia racetrack, was a visitor at the track today. Barney Schreibcr will shortly ship a carload ot broodmares to his farm near St. Louis.
