Tom Dolan outran the others all the way, kept close to the inside rail and saved a lot of ground and was well in hand all of the last sixteenth. Beau Brummel ran a good race and was easily best of the others King Leojiold began slowly, but finished fast and shook off Yendido in the stretch run. The latter closed a gap. Black Flag went wide on the far turn and lost ground at the head of the homestretch. Alyth carried Enolia almost to the outside fence on the turn into the homestretch. Liddon was rated along for the first half before making a move, then went around the leaders on the far turn and, taking command when straightened out for the final turn, was well in hand at the finish. Two Penny was outrun for the first half and trailed along in the rear until on the turn out of the backstretch, then closed a big gap and finished fast. Dungannon saved ground all the way and shook oft Filler in the last eighth. The latter set a good pace to the stretch, then tired. Fox Htinting ran fairly well. Airship was much used in racing Billy Handsel into subjection and tired when Husted challenged. Lucy Young finished fast after making a wide turn Into the homestretch. Nonie Lucille was much used in setting the pace and tired in the last furlong and just managed to outlast Merely Mary Ann. Julia M. ran a good race and was easily best of the others. Tennylmrh closed a big gap and finished fast. Southampton was left at the post. Goldic met with a lot of interference and when lie made his run he went up on the outside and raced around the others, came wide on the turn into the homestretch and, catching Fugurtha and Ezra tiring, drew away without much effort. Ezra liegan slowly, but closed a big gap and easily disposed of Fugurtha in the stretch run. The latter was quickest at the start, but was much used in setting a fast pace and tired when caught. Capitano ran well. Virgie Withers tired in the last quarter and was eased up. Little James showed early speed, but is best in heavy going. Glenclare saved ground on the far turn, slipped through on the Inside on the turn Into the homestretch .and finished gamely. Galmeda was much used in setting the pace and tired when It came to the final drive, but ran In greatly Improved form. Ruth W. was messed about all the way and closed up fast in the last quarter.
