CHOICES ARE SUCCESSFUL AT WINDSOR. Aubuchon Comes Near Losing on Lady Henrietta Fischer Is the Fad in Jockeys. Detroit, Mich., June 19. Close finishes and the success of three favorites and a well backed second choice were the features at Windsor this afternoon. The attendance was up to the usual proportions. The track was dead and slow. Mose Goldblatt saddled his first winner of the meeting In Lady Henrietta. She was at a short price in the betting and jockey Aubuchon came near making a mess of It. He took things so easily in the stretch that old Dan McKenna, under a vigorous ride, got to her head and Aubuchon was compelled to sit down and ride his best to land his mount a winner by a scant neck. Captain Bob, also from the Goldblatt stable was in the long distance race and was a receding favorite at post time. The betting was on Attila and it proved to be wise, for the gelding secured the verdict by a length. Nearly every stall on the track is filled now, the Hamilton lot of horses having alKut all come in. Horses, however, are arriving by every train and It is now believed that the track will shelter the" largest number of runners In its history. Will Fischer is the popular jockey here.
