Boola broke running and, opening a winning lead, had her opponents in distress before the stretch was reached, was really never extended and ran with her mouth wide open all the way. Malta showed the most speed of the others and was easily second best, but Is not good enough to beat the winner. Zanliss ran a good race and can win in slower company. Little Wally showed surprising Improvement, showed an over-supply of speed and fenced like an old-timer, waited on the leaders to within a half mile from home, then moved up and. joining Gulistau. reached the main track first and outgamed Dawson. The latter was reserved for the last jump, closed a big gap and would have won in the next stride. Gulistau was raced into defeat by acting us pacemaker, lost ground when entering the main track and tired badly. Manzauo and Cipsano took the whig at the second jump and were taken back and went over the course. Gipsano was leading at the time. QOOQ FOURTH RACE 1 Mile. 1:3011102. Request got through on the first turn and opened up a big lead, which she easily maintained throughout. Scarecrow came from away back and made up ground when entering the stretch, but tired. Steel Trap met with much Interference and finished fast. Arab was in tight quarters throughout and made up much ground when clear. Redwood II. was cut off at the half-mile post and could never improve his position afterwards. Sand was quickly shullled hack and was not persevered with. Sam Clay won a lucky race, got off running and set the pace all the way. lint was tiring fast in the final sixteenth and just lasted long enough. Prytanla got away tangled up and had to run around his opponents to get into a contending position, finished fast and barely failed to get up. Minot ran well and hung on gamely, but was tiring fast at the end. Timothy Wen showed early speed. The latter was in tight quarters for six furlongs, but with clear sailing made up much ground and finished with a whirlwind rush. Miss Gaiety showed speed and set the early pace, then tired badly, but outgamed Henry Waring for third money. The latter ran his race.
