The latter was reserved too long, finished fast and wearing the winner down. Subtle showed speed, hut was tiring fast at the end. Court Martial was a game contender nearly all the way. Grapple dropped back while rounding the far turn, but came again in the stretch and finished fast and gamely. YVes ran a fairly good race and outstayed Samson for third place.
