SPORT FOR A DAY AT NIRVANA. New York, July 23. V. Gould Brokaw, the millionaire sportsman, who has taken an active interest in hunt and steeplechase affairs for many years, announces one of the largest private steeplechase meetings of the season. The meeting will be held about October 15, at NIrvaua, the country home of Mr. Brokaw, over bis specially prepared two and a half mile steeplechase course. Admission will be entirely free. Six races will comprise the card. The rules of the National Hunt and Steeplechase Association will govern the meeting and entries will close a week prior to the event with George Gall, clerk of the scales.
