The latter broke sl-j-vly and trailed until on the turn for home and. when straightened out, moved up fast and closed a big gap. Dolinda set a fast pace and raced Embarrassment into subjection, but was tiring at the end. Suzanne Kocamora ran forwardly, was In keen contention throughout and finished gamely. Embarrassment can do much better, tired and had no mishaps. Peter Paul showed speed for three-quarters, then quit. The others were always outrun. Moonvine began slowly, but caught Phil Igoe, raced him into subjection and was tiring at the end. Josephine E. ran forwardly and was a keen contender all the way. Attention had no mishaps. Pedro, in a pocket all the way, made a determined challenge on the stretch turn, then fell back. Miss Cesarion ran much below her true form. Phil Igoe was speedy, but failed to stay. W. ONeill was off in a tangle and Interfered with on the far turn and again at the head of the stretch, but for which he would have won. Frank Collins finished going fast. Zelinda tired badly after a display of early speed. Monte Carlo was never a contender. Sheen quit badly. Willowdene finished fast. Oleasa tired after running well to the stretch. Jungle Imp made a determined challenge at the head of the stretch, but could not get to the leader. George Vivian was caught in a jam at the half-mile post and fell.
