BLUE COATS STANCH PERFORMANCE. The annual meeting of the Quebec Turf Club was held at Quebec Wednesday and Friday of last week. The attendance on lioth days was large aud the sport was thoroughly enjoyed. There were twelve races, sir each day, and three of them two handicaps and an allowance race each at a mile, were won by Hlue Coat, the four-year-old bay colt by Ben Strome Blue Jacket. On Wednesday Blue Co.it won the Town Plate in 1:40. On Friday be took the first race, the Merchants purse, in 1:4SJ and scored bis second victory for the day in the fourth race, running the mile iu 1:40.
