There probably was a place price against Toots Mook in the early stages of the betting, but it was "out" at the close. E. F. AA, Chicago. As a matter of fact there were two Rainey entries in the Futurity, each of the two brothers having a starter. An entry is one or more horses. Had either De Mund or Horace E. won, the bettor would no doubt have claimed a winning bet and as it was, lost.
