Don Domo was away In a tangle and badly outpaced In the early stages, but saved much ground on the stretch turn and, gaining steadily, wore down the leaders In the final drive and won going away. Hector forced the early pace and wore down Platoon while rounding the stretch turn, hut tired slightly " in the final drive. Mlltlades closed a big gap from a poor beginning and was going fast at the eiid. Platoon tired badly In the final furlong, but showed speed and improvement. Old Stone can do better. Roscoe tired after going a quarter and will improve. Sainrida, well handled and running to her best form, forced a fast pace and, racing Lens Into subjection in the first half, had enough in reserve to stand off Demo. The latter, probably best, was shuffled back soon after the start, but saved ground when turning Into the stretch and, finishing gamely, was wearing the winner down. Lens was taken wide most of the way and tired In the filial drive. Mlldrene rail poorly and can do much better. Timothy Wen showed speed for the first half and tired badly. The latter was forced to go wide In the early stages and moved np fast after gong a half, but tired slightly In the last quarter. Marshal Ney seemingly tired after going a half, but came again and got up for third place in the final stride. Santon showed the most speed for the first three-quarters, but tired fast, in the stretch. Corrlgan apparently lacked speed and was badly outrun all the way, but can do much better. IoglN. The latter was a sharp contender all the way and appeared a certain winner in the stretch, but tired suddenly In the final sixteenth. Devout ran a good three-quarters before tiring. The Minks was badly outpaced early, but closed a big gap and was gaining fast at the end. Terns Rod rati a good race. Colonel Jim Douglas was taken wide most of the way, could not concede the weight and tired badly in the stretch. Sir Russell quit after going a half and can do much better.
