PERRETT IS SUSPENDED. HIS HANDLING OF BUTINSKIE GETS THE . JOCKEY INTO TROUBLE. Fast Time at Douglas Park Platoon Wins One Handicap and El Otros Takes the Other : State Fair Opens Tomorrow. Louisville, Ky., September 15. The first two week, of the Douglas Park meeting came to an end today with a good program, a big crowd and some brilliant racing. Two handicaps served as features. The track had been scraped and rolled and several new track records were made. The fifty-four seconds that Bitter Miss hung up for the four and a half furlongs, winning in a canter as she did. WQuld be creditable anywhere. In the handicap El Otros ran a great race under a strong ride by Boland. Ali of the ten startes received support and it was a most difficult matter for speculators to settle on any one candidate. Platoon having qualified to the winning stage ran back to his previous good form and, aided by racing luck, took ihe second race in decisive style. The opening race got nugh McCarrens rider and best bread winner, "jockey Perrett, into trouble. Perrett had the mount on the favorite, Butinskie. The boy got away badly, but rode a bungling race. Judge Hamilton suspended him indefinitely for "incompetency," as lie put it. The punishment; was not dealt out altogether because of the boys showing on Butinskie, but for other weak rides as well. Judge Hnuiiltori says that his suspension of Treubel , week of the meeting, which will follow after the State Fair at Churchill Downs. He says the meeting just closed at Windsor was one of the best ever held in that section of the country.
