JOHN L. INGLIS BETS REMAIN UNPAID. Louisville, Ky., September 15. The Douglas Park Jockey Club is adding to the muddle over the name of the horse John L. Inglls, scheduling him on the program as such, which is his correct and registered name. At Churchill Downs in the spring he was named on the programs as John English. Then Daily Racing Form called attention to the error, and several St. Louis handbooks who had lost heavily on him refused to settle on a technicality. This money, amounting, it is claimed, to ,500, and mostly due to T. P. Hayes is still tied up. with no present prospects that a voluntary settlement will ever be made.
