Ruskinetta, close up throughout, put up au extra game effort through the stretch and finished fast. Surething came Avith a belated rush in t-.-e last furlong. Alta McDonald Aas in close pursuit through the stretch run aud ran a good race. Dulweber came fast in the last quarter and Avill improve. Tyburnia ran well to the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same Jay Ward was favored by the going and ran In improved form, was a sharp contender iu the early stages and, standing a hard stretch drive, outlasted Phiora and scored a lucky victorv. Phiora. awav fullv In motion, showed the most early speed, but tired slightly in the final drive. Miladi Love ran a -rood race and had to overcome interference. John Doyle ran Avell in the going and, under stronger handling, would nave been a more prominent contender at the finish. Onyx II. came fast through the stretch and put up a good performance, but was not good enougli to beat the winner. Maverick fenced well, but lacked speed in the early stages, then closed a gap in the final drive and finished fast. Gould ran a bad race under poor handling and can do much better.
