Balshot. much the best, showed the most early speed, but lost because of a careless ride at the finish. Dr. Young cloyed a big gap in the stretch and finished fast. Romping Girl ren a good race and was a sufferer from, interference. Erla Lee ran a bad race and can do much better. Miss Margo quit badly in the last quarter. Lady Carol got away well and ran as if best in the going, showed much speed and followed Miss Anxious closely to the stretch, where she took a long lead and won as her rider pleased. Sonny ran a good race and finished gamelv. Orfeo had to overcome a lot of interference and finished with a rush. Royal Legend was knocked back soon after the start and. after saving unich ground into the stretch, came fast and would have been second in a few more stildes. Redgauntlet, showing sudden improvement and running to his best form, was a forward contender to the fetretch turn, where he wore down Gracchus and, standing a hard drive gamely through the stretch run, held the badly ridden Miss Officious safe. The latter began slowly and was taken wide most of the way, was given a weak ride near the end and was best. Miss Lida closed a big gap in .the final drive and finished with a rush. Gromobol showed improved form and ran fairly well. Gracchus showed the most early speed, but tired fast after going tliree-qui.rters. Marvel P. came with a rush on the outside and was going fastest at the end., Foxhall showed speed, but was excessively used and tired. Don Domo had no mishaps. Gauze, showing sudden improvement, was a forward contender from the start and, saving ground when coming into the stretch, finished fast and gamely. Scalplock forced the pace, in the early stages, but tired slightly after going three-quarters. Katie Powers closed a big gap and was going well at the end. Inspector Girl was almost thrown soon after the start and ran a good race. Kleinwobd suffered from Interference and quit badly after going three-quarters.
