PROPER SOON TO GO TO CALIFORNIA. New York, October 3. W. B. Jennings has already shipped fourteen horses to California for the winter meeting at Oakland and Proper and Blondy are to join them after the Brighton Beach meeting. Proper has paid the expenses of the western trip by his victory in the Cup Preliminary and Mr. Jennings is telling his friends that he will have some velvet to the account of the Preston-pans horse after Saturdays race for the Brighton Cup. While he admits that Flip Flap ran a splendid race yesterday, be seems sanguine enough that Proper can again show her his heels. Graziallo will not race In California during the winter. Mr. Jennings has written Samuel Ross of Washington that he will turn Graziallo over to Billy Garth at Belmont Park. Mr. Garth may ratce him a time or two at the Westchester Racing Associations meeting, but will shape him particularly for the racing at Bennlngs. If Mr. Ross accepts the advice of Mr. Jennings, Graziallo will be schooled for .steepleehusiug next year..
