WESTCHESTER RACING ASSOCIATION ENTRIES The stakes of the Westchester Racing Association for 190S and 1009, which closed for entries September 15, received all that could be wished in the way of entries, the stakes and number of entries to each being as follows: TO BE RUN IN 110S. Withers Stakes. 0,000 added; 1 mile. 123 , Ladies Stakes, 5.000 added; 1 mile SO Belmont Stakes, 25,000 guaranteed; 1 3-S miles. SC TO BB RUN IN 1909. Belmont Stakes, 0,000 guaranteed; 1 3-S miles. 121 The entries to the Belmont of 1908 were of yearlings. It had previously received sixty-nine entries of foals so it now has, a total of 105 nominations. The 30,000 Belmont, of 1909, drew 121 foal nominations and when yearling entries close next year, will probably show a total of over 200. The National Stallion Stakes of 190S, closed for nominations of stallions at the same date with forty-six patrician sires named, they being August Belmonts Hastings, Octagon, St. Blaise, Collar and Busney Park; Mrs. T. J. Carsons Bon Strome and Griffon; F. A. Forsythes Oddfellow and H. V. lieadleys Ornament; J. B. Hagglus AVatcrcrcss, Star Ruby, Greenan, Dieudonue, Kinley Mack, Goldfinch, Africander, Royal Flush III., Sombrero, Slave4, McChesuey and Gerolstein; J. It. Kcenes Ben Brush, Voter, Disguise and Kingston; W. Lakelands Goldcrest; J. E. Maddens Ogden, Yankee, Plaudit, Planudes and Galore; J D. Millets Cunard; Clarence H. Mack-eys Meddler; J. F. Newmans Jack De Mund; II. T. Oxnards Prluce of Melbourne and Hawks-wick; B. Schrclbers Sain, Bauuockburn and Sir Hercules; J. S. S tolls Frankfort and Nasturtium; Sehrads Hottentot: E. R. Thomas Toddiugton and Golden Garter, und H. P. Whitueys Hamburg and Persimmon.
