Cloisteress ran into the lead ou the outside and made the running for seven furlongs before she succumbed and was a game second. Frills, always well up from the start, was unable to. overhaul the leaders in the last quarter, but finished an easy third. Lady Avis, away very badly, closed up with a great rush at the end and is a good looker. Marie Antoinette finished well up after being badly outpaced to the stretch. Homoselle got away poorly. Golden Wine rau moderately well. Josic Hampton showed speed for half the journey and then retired.
