Lady Ethel, clear of Interference and showing a good turn of speed, was a forward, contender from the start, maintained her speed well throughout the stretch and gamely lasted long enough. Suzanne Roea-mora made up ground ou the stretch turn ami finished with a rush. Intense had to overcome interference in the early stages, finished fast and was gaining steadily in the last furlong. Docile tired badly after running well to the stretch. Mae Lynch finished with a rush from a slow beginning. Oddoletta, away poorly and in a tangle, ran fairly well. Sallie B. B. had to be taken back to avoid a jam. Revolt had scant chance with a poor send-on!. Telepathy quit badly in the stretch. Bitter Brown sulked throughout. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. Lightning Conductor, showing the most speed throughout, raced into a long lead from the start and. finishing gamely, outstayed Tom Dolan. The latter was ill close quarters through the stretch, but closed a gap steadily and finished fast. Caper, pooily handled and taken wide, came with a belated rush through the stretch. Camp tired after going a good half and was slightly interfered with. Earl of Leicester showed speed in the early stages, but tired near the end. Nellette put up a good performance. Envoy was waited with until fully straightened out in the stretch, then gained steadily, but could not quite reach the leader. Pontotoc ran fairly well, was a fcharp factor in the early stages, but tired after going five furlongs and will Improve. Mamie Algol closed a big gap and was going well at the end. Shawana had a rough trip and closed up much ground in the last quarter. Retropaw showed great early speed, but quit after going a fast half. Creollu fenced well, was close up for the entire way and made a game cfTort in the stretch, but tired suddenly near the end. Rejectable had no misliaps and went well throughout. Evander tired fast after going over all the jumps. Plea ran a good race through the field, but failed badly on the fiat. Seops was going well when he lost his rider at the eighth jump. New Amsterdam was pulled up after going over the fifth jump. Ida Merl-xnce fell at the fourth, Gus Lanka at the third and St. Volma at the first. Scratched 050S53Pontotoc, 135; 05025 Maverick, 147.
