Baveno fenced poorly and showed bad form. Rejectable, showing improved form, was a certain winner until he met with a mishap at the stretch hurdle, where be bolted to the inner rail when taking the linal obstacle and threw his rider. Oratorian, running gamely throughout, was reserved from the fast pace in the early stages, moved "P resolutely after going three-quarters and, finishing with reserved speed, just lasted long enough to outlast Sincerity Belle. The latter, much the best, was shuffled back soon after the start and apparently knocked hopelessly out" of it, but closed a big gaD and. finishing fast, was unlucky to lose, lonsoluca, poorly handled, ran a winning race and, as the race was run, should have won.
