Alencon outbroke and outpaced his opponents all tho way and won a lucky race in a hard drive. Gambrinus was messed about, dwelling too long at a critical moment on the stretch turn and in a belated rush,, failed to get lip. Edua Jackson worked through a rough early Journey and was coming fast at the end. Chieftain, away poorly, closed a considerable gap. Azelina was crowded out at the start and made up a lot of ground afterwards. Right and True failed to stay and may have been short. Emergency showed early speed and is about due. Workman was shuffled to the rear at the start. Luretta took the longest way around. Onatas away badly, rapidly improved his position and won out under a terrific stretch drive. Glvonnl Balerio made the running from the start and, patiently waiting in front, was able to put tip a game end struggle staying the journey unexpectedly well. Rather Royal maintained forward and persistent pursuit of the pacemaker throughout in a good effort. Suffice, shuffled back on the first turn, closed up steadily afterwards and finished a fast going fourth. Delphie, from a forward position In the early running, unexpectedly quitJn the last quarter. Frank Gill Is in rare form, broke fast and maintained close pursuit of the pacemaker from the Ftart, forged into the lead on the last turn and won pulling up. Adoration ran within striking distance of the pacemaker from the start and finished with a game, but belated, end rush. Tourennc got away poorly, but moved up to the leaders on the last turn and, under punishment, put up a game stretch struggle, earning third place in a grand race. Eddie Ware ran prominently to the last turn, where he commenced to fall back and was an easing up fourth. Theyre Off, from a flying start, forced a terrific pace, but tailed to stay. Gold Lady got away poorly and gained ground . steadily, but was a little outclassed here. Okenlte fell out of It early. Scratched C51272W. H. Coy Maid is in grand form, set the pace throughout and, shaking on one after another that essayed to pass her, outstayed Dolly Spanker in a last terrific quarter mile struggle. Dolly Spanker, suddenly improved and thrown in at the weights, was reserved within striking distance of the" pacemaker for the entire Journey, but could never quite get un. Oxford, shuffled back on the first turn and about alternately being pulled up and sent along, was not able to get up at the end, hut was best. Orilene was outpaced from the start, but finished a good fourth. Dishabille, overweighted and out of place on this track at the distance, was never a serious contender. tJrapple showed a flash of early speed, but soon dropped ut of serious contention. Fish Hawk ran a gamo race for a youngster, but was outclassed. Scratched 64792 Ormondes Right, 104; 60125 Graziallo, 100. Tommy Waddell quickly established a long lead, was never headed and won with plenty to spare. Good Luck held a good position from the start, was waited with overlong before making his best effort and could never get up. Llndale, after going the first quarter, maintained nearest pursuit of the winner until Jn the last furlong, where he was passed by Good Luck and is very fit. Chimney Sweep ran sluggishly from the start and never got within hailing distance even of the front division in the early running, nltbougb gaining slowly in the stretch. Angler commenced to lose ground at the end of half the journey and was soon hopelessly out of it. Banker ran moderately well. Woodsman ran as if waterlogged. Reba Stone got away badly and leisurely closed a big gap into an eaBy third. Manana finished well, but is best In mud. Cambyses, away very poorly, made up a lot of ground and Is improving. Jobatown had a rough Journey and is a- slow beginner. Charles tJ. Gates unexpectedly failed to stay after showing early speed. Babbling Brook, a good looker, made up ground in the middle running and can do better.
