LHOMMED LEUS VIEWPOINT. Steve LHommedieu was at West Baden, with his wife and son when his ruling off was announced at Latoula and, according to a dispatch from there to the Enquirer, said when Informed of his fate "that he was somewhat surprised at the way it came about; that he had always had the opinion that jockey Fischer was a bad one, and now there was no question, and cited the fact of Fischers being ruled off at Hot Springs about one year ago. As to owner J. B. Dunn, he said if the Executive Committee had gone to the bottom of the matter he would have been ruled off, and that at no time had he made overtures to Dunn, but that Dunn had hunted him up for that purpose. He says there Is something more than appears on the surface in this matter, and there would be but few left on the tracks If the whole lot of them got their just deserts. He seems to place-xather a low estimate on the western tracks in general. His wife expresses herself as well pleased. She says she has been making efforts for years to induce him to abandon the turf. From this place Steve will go to his home in the east."
