Poquessing Is a speedy gelding, broke fasr and, setting the pace all the way gamely, lasted long enough under a hard drive. Optician was much the best and: would have won easily with a good ride, was shiit off badly on the far turn and lost a lot of ground, but came around the others in the stretch and, finishing fast, would have won In two more strides. Judge; White began slowly, but went up quickly and was in a contending position to the stretch, then tired arid had to be hard ridden to "save third place. The Saracen ran a fairly good race and will be worth reihemberlng at Bennlrigs. Akbar finished fast. Baby Willie showed speed. Donna ran poorly and can do better. The latter was speedy, forced a fast pace and hung on gamely In the final stride. Betsy T5ihfoil van a winning race ami closed a big gap from a poor serid-off, but tired right at the end.
