MEMPHIS RECRUITS FOR NEW ORLEANS. Memphis, Tenn., November 17. The first departures from Montgomery Park for the winter racing season at New Orleans will be taken tomorrow by the stable of J. C Cahn, including eleven yearling fillies and colts by Bitter Root. The older horses are ready to race. Horseradish, which was cut down last spring at New Orleans, has trained favorably here and will be a starter In the winter stakes for which he is eligible. C. R. Ellison left at midnight last night His older division will follow the1 latter part of next week. Ellison has rented the house at 300S Esplanade Avenue and will remain during the hundred-day meeting. Part of the racing strings of G. C. Bennett and L. A. Cella will be shipped to New Orleans as soon as cars can be secured. Johnny Murphy will handle the Cella horses while Henry McDaniel will nttend to the yearlings in local training. Charles- Mulhol-land, who did so well with Dishabille and others In, the east, will have charge of the New Orleans division of Beuuetts stable.
