NOTES OF THE TURF. D. Boland Is to ride for George Long at Los Angeles. Ardena in the Santa Anita stable is a sister to Mocorlto. Danny . Maher has sailed from England for New York on the Cedric and will arrive next week. Rudolph Spreckels has refused an offer of 0,000 for Borghesi, which ran so well at Ascot Park last winter. The California Jockey Club has prepared a list of horses now at the track. There are approximately 750 names in the list, which is sufficient demonstration that there will be no dearth of horses. Jimmy McLaughlin has concluded to desert Ascot Park in favor of New Orleans, but will not race Oxford there. The good gray will be sent to New York to go into winter quarters after racing Is over n" Rpnninirs.
