SHERIFF BOB WILLIAMS IS ACQUITTED. Hot Springs, Ark., November 22. Sheriff R. L. Williams has been acquitted in the Circuit Court of charges that lie liberated prisoners on election day and committed an assault with Intent to kill. There are pending two more indictments growing out of the same cases, but the District Attorney will enter a nolle prosse, it is said. These Indictments were brought by the so-called reformers that have put the "lid" on the city and driven out gamblers. Williams is said to be critically ill at his home.
