KOERNER IS EN ROUTE TO ASCOT PARK. Jockey Charles Koerner, accompanied by his mother and brother Theodore, passed through Chl-"cago yesterday en route from Louisville, Ky., to Los Angeles. He is to ride at the Ascot Park meeting and has taken a cottage near the track for the winter. Harry Payne Whitney has first call on the services of Koerner for the season of 1907 at the eastern tracks.
