NOTES OF THE TURF. . Henry Mason, the owner of Red Knight, was formerly In the service of the Plnkertons. The Chelsea Stable horses have gone Into winter quarters at "Mr. Tuckers farm in Pennsylvania. John W. Rogers thinks it possible that Artful will stand training again next spring. She Is at Brook-dale Farm and is doing nicely. It is likely that jockey McDaniel will ride at .New Orleans this winter. His uncle, Henry Mc-Daniel, will send several horses to the New Orleans meetings in charge of John Murphy and negotiations for the services of the lad are now pending.
