HINT OF TROUBLE FOR PROMOTERS. Wheeling, W. Va., November 22. The proposition to build a track at Half Moon Farm is likely to meet with considerable opposition. There is no law on the statutes of West Virginia against racecourses or betting on racing at the tracks, but it is hinted that the legislature will be asked to pass an anti-turf law.
