Zienap was well back in the early running, but moved up on the turn, came very fast through the last furlong and caught Oraculum in the last few strides. The latter forced and set the pace, ran to his best form and finished resolutely. Dolly Spanker got off slowly and closed up considerable ground, but tired under his weight. Lord Boanerges ran a fairly good race. Pater was badly messed about, can do much tetter and Is fit and ready. The others were always Outum. Agile broke slowly, as usual, but worked his way through gradually and, saving ground on both turns, came fast through the stretch, but was tiring fast at the end. Red Knight was practically left, but went after the others and closed a tremendous gap and, with an even break, could not have lost. Sally K. ran well to the stretch, but tired in the last quarter. Bohemia showed the most early speed, but quit at the end of the first half. Cederstrome ran well and finished gamely. Ted ran a good three-quarters and will bear watching. Onatas was waited with in close pursuit of the leaders to the last furlong, then went to the front with hardly an effort and won as his rider pleased, showing marvelous improvement. Solon Shingle ran a good race and caught Lord of the Vale tiring in the final sixteenth. The latter showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch as if short and should be benefited by the race. Luretta ran a good three-quarters and retired. Bright Boy closed up ground and finished fast on his courage, his small rider being of little help to him. Yorkist got off badly and closed up much ground in the run through the homestretch. Adelinette got off well, but was crowded bacli on the far turn. Crafty ran poorly. Umbrella showed speed, but failed to stay. Killochan closed a gap, finished fast and ran a very game race. Scar-fell showed early speed and saved ground on the home turn, but tired in the final drive. Gentian ran well and is improving and worth watching when a competent rider Is put up. Tanager showed the most early speed, but tired and failed to stay.
