BENNINGTON GOES TO FLORIDA. New York, January 9. — Newton Bennington, who underwent a serious operation eight weeks ago. left last night for Florida. He will remain in the south until he fully recovers his strength. He hopes to be able to return in time for the opening of the season, which will lie at Aqueduct about April 15.
