MEDDLER THE PREMIER STALLION. History of the Great Sire and 1906 Record of His Performers on the Turf. Meddler, now in the stud of Clarence H. Ifackaj i at Kingston Farm, near Lexington, Ky.. has for the seen I time earned the title Premier Stallion in America. He Brat headed the list in 1904. He won the British Dominion Two-Tear Hd Stakes, the Chesterfield Stakes, and the Dewhurst Plate. English breeders sent commissioners to buy Meddler at the Forbes sale, but the highest of these was 848,000 and Mr. Whitneys bid exceeded them to the profit of tie American turf.
