A. C. WASHINGTON IS DEAD. A. C. Washington, treasurer of the Queens County Jockey Club and a director of the Brooklyn Jockey Club, died at Bayshore, N. Y., Friday and was buried Sunday. Mr. Washington was a very wealthy mau, being president of the Iron Steamboat Company at the time of his death. He built the old Culver Railroad and has always been active in business affairs. He was seventy-eight years of age.
