FORT JOHNSON SANFORDS BEST. Saratoga, N. Y., August 21. When the Messrs. Snn ford arrived here from the Hurricana Farm with their horses, they were inclined to think that Ona-tassa, a son of Isidor and Rockwater, was their smartest two-year-old. They have changed their opinion, however. Fort Johnson now occupies a higher place iu the estimation of both General Stephen Sanford and his son John than does the doughty chestnut. Ouatassa must not be hastily condemned, however. He is a singularly comely colt and ho has a fine turn of speed. But he Is still green and he docs not know what to do. If liis public form is not misleading, Onatassa will make a creditable long-distance runner."
