CLAIM NO RECORD FOR OLD HONESTY. New York, August 21. The claim was made at Empire City track today that Old Honesty is not entitled to credit of an American record of 1:43J for one mile and one hundred yards in his race yesterday. The contention is that the start was made at the mark for one mile and seventy yards instead of one mile and one hundred yards. The matter is being investigated by the stewards.
