BREEDING BUREAU STALLION PRIZES. New York, September 27. The up-st.i-te keepers of the stallions placed by the Breeding Bureau of the Jockey Club are afforded a capital opportunity by the National Horse Show Association to turn their stock to good account. The National has but one class for thoroughbreds, but through an additional prize made by the Jockey Club the exhibitor of one of the Breeding Bureau stallions may win a cash prize of 500. The conditions are: "Stallion three years old or over to be judged by his appearance in the ring and his ability for improving the breed of horses for general use. Racing performances not to bo regarded. Should the winner prove to be from among those stallions placed by the Breeding Bureau in New York State by the Jockey Club, the said Jockey Club will add 2CO to the lirst award.- First prize 300, second prize 150, and third prize 75." It is safe to say that at least half a dozen ot the Breeding Bureau stallions will be exhibited, and in proper show conditions such horses as Watercolor, Spring, On Deck, Advance Guard. St. Leonards, Don De Oro, Margrave and several others have a chance for the coveted prize second to none.
