DONATUS A SMART YEARLING. New York, October S. Some smart yearlings have" shown up iu their trials by owners racing around the metropolitan tracks. Frank Began has a good youngster iu Donatus, the bay colt by Hastings Donna de Oro, for which he paid ,100 at the Belmont yearling sale July G. Donatus has moved quarters at Gravesend in twenty-three seconds, and was priced a day or two ago to Frank Weir, acting for Frank Farrell, at 0,000. The colt is a brother to Hal, owued by Began, Oro. and Auneta Lady.
