. SCHREIBER BUYS HALLOWEEN. Lexington, Ky., October S. Barney Sehreiber spent Sunday at the farm of Edward Corrlgan and left with Mr. Corrlgan for Cincinnati. While at the farm Sehreiber bought of Corrigan the mare Halloween, by Hanover Princess Ann, by Prince Charlie, and she will be shipped to his Woodlands farm in Missouri. Mr. Sehreiber will spend a few-days at his farm and then proceed to Los Angeles to attend the meeting November 5 of the stockholders in the newly organized Jockey Club which is building the track at Arcadia. Mr. Sehreiber says that the work of construction is being rapidly pushed, and that the now plant will be ready for opening on Thanksgiving Day. He says there is not a chance that Ascot Park can be used this year, and that all of the racing will be done over the new track.
