THOUGHT HE HAD COLIN BEATEN. "I really thought I had Colin beaten at the three-furlong pole," said Jockey McDauiel, who rode Koyal Tourist in the Matron. "I had a pretty good lead and I looked back and gave Miller the laugh, but just then Walter touched Colin with the whip and the colt shot past me as if my horses legs were tied. He cannot be beaten."
