Thistle Do ran under restraint in the early running and until straightened out for the stretch, then dashed 1, the front and won going away. Excitement was favored by the going and showed superior early speed, but could not stay the route at the weights and tired, but held on gamely in the final drive. Rebounder broke "lowly and was far back for the first six furlongs then came on fast. Harry Scott showed speed, but tired and bis race should be thrown out. He can beat such horses in any sort of going. Scarecrow showed speed. The winner was entered for 400; no bid. Scratched 71197 Cursus, OS. Overweights Harry Scott, 2j pounds. The latter finished fast. Hancock showed speed, but failed to stay. The winner was entered for 400; no bid. Overweights Leo Paul. 1J pounds.
