St. Noel, favored bv the stiff going, moved up gradually from a slow beginning and, standing the final drive gamelv, got up in the closing stride. Elancer broke fast and showed the most early speed, but tired near the end from excessive use In the early stages. Dapple Gold was prominent all the way, but tired near the end. Malta ran a good race and was right there throughout. Nellette had 110 mishaps. Arendor lacked speed. Bert Osra was never prominent.. Field Lark quit after going a half. Jim Beattie got oft badly. Sweetener stood the linal drive well and will improve. Macias ran sluggishly and suffered from interference most of the way and will show much improvement with a little more" raeing.
