Rt-ilondo broke from the extreme outside and was forced to go around on the outside to get up, was not hurried any in the early stages and finished with a great burst of speed. Taunt was much used in setting the early pace and tired in the last sixteenth. Tyrolian was well up and a game contender until in the final furlong, where he tired. 1 Inner liuished well. Birmingham and The Belle were crowded out when entering the homestretch. The latter struck the fence and almost foil. Alsono made up ground when called on. The winner was entered for .00; no bid. The latter was hard ridden all of the last three furlongs, but could never get up and was driving to the limit at the end to .nll off Goes Fast. The latter was repeatedly interfered with and was taken back soon after the start and messed about, then came to the outside when straightened out in the homestretch and finished with a rush. Grace Kimball was taken back and saved from the early pace, then came fast under a drive and shook off Sweet Kitty and Glena MacBride at the sixteenth post. Florentine, outrun for the first half, finished with a great stretch run and was catching the winner at the end. Glena MacBride was well up all the way, but tired under punishment at the end. Sweet Kitty showed superior early speed, but tired in tho stretch. Little George quit badly. Griften ran well. The winner was entered for 500; no bid.
