NOVEL SCHEME FOR KENTUCKY. Lexington, Ky., October "1. J. Broekonriilge Viley has written to W. L. Powers, of the Iasig-Tipton Company, asking that an effort, be made to have the wealthy men in the country interest themselves in tin; breeding of thoroughbred horses, create a pool for the purpose; of buying mares that do not. bring satisfactory prices and hold them until then; is a market. Mr. Vileys scheme has met with Hie general approval of those here who have discussed it, and it is lielieved it will take the place and belter serve the purpose of tin; breeding interests than the banishment of mares to the American Protective Association.
