In races exclusively for three-voar-olds, or four-year-olds, the weights shall be 120 pounds, and for two-year-olds, 122 pounds. Except in handicaps and in races whore tin; conditions expressly stale to ho contrary, miles two years old shall he allowed 3 pounds, and mures throe years old and upward shall be allowed 5 pounds. Geldings shall be allowed 3. pounds. Welter weights shall be 2S pounds added to the weight for age. In heavy handicaps the top weight shall not. ho loss than 140 pounds. In all handicaps when the added money exceeds ?000, the top weight shall not be loss than 120 pounds. AMERICAN TURF ASSOCIATION. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for lie shorter distance are to be carried. In races exclusively for two-year-olds, 1 IS pounds shall be carried. In races exclusively for tlircc-year-olds, 122 pounds shall he carried. In heat races there shall be an allowance of five pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps, fillies two years old, and geldings of all ages, shall be allowed three pounds. Fillies and mares three years old and upward shall be allowed live pounds before Sept ember 1, and three imunds thereafter. WESTERN" JOCKEY CLUB. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance are to be carried. In a race exclusively for two-year-olds the weights shall be US pounds. In a race exclusively for three-year-olds the weights shall he 122 pounds. In beat races there shall be an allowance of live pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, fillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall be allowed three pounds, and fillies and mares three years old and upward shall be allowed five pounds before Scptcmttcr 1, and three pounds thereafter. PACIFIC JOCKEY CLUB. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for fhe shorter distance are to bo carried. In a race exclusively for two-cyear-olds the weights shall be 118 pounds. In a rare exclusively for three-year-olds the weights shall lie 122 pounds. In heat races there shall be an allowance of five pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, fillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall In; allowed three pounds, and fillies and mares three ; 1 years old and upward shall be allowed five pounds before September 1, and three pounds thereafter. STATE RACING COMMISSION OF KENTUCKY. The scale of weights adopted by the Stale Racing Commission of Kentucky is identical with that of the American Turf Association, except that, no weights are named for two-year-olds at any distance before August, the restriction being that no two-year-old shall compete in any all aged rare prior to August 1. The weight in races exclusively for two-year-olds is 11S pounds. STEEPLECHASE WEIGHTS. At the eastern tracks all steeplechase races are run under the rules of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, which provides those weights: For steeplechases less than three miles From January 1 to August 31, inclusive, four years, 145 pounds; five years, 159 pounds; six years and over, 100 pounds. From September 1 to December 31, in elusive, for four years, 155 pounds; five years, 13 pounds; six years and over, 100 pounds. For steeplechases of three miles and over From January 1 to August 31, inclusive, four years, B!S pounds; five years, 157 pounds; six years and over, 100 pounds. From September 1 to December 31, in elusive, for four years, 149 pounds; five years, 101 pounds; six years and over, 100 pounds. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, mares shall he allowed five pounds and geldings three pounds. No horse shall carry less than 330 pounds. In the west Ihe weights specified by the Western Jockey Club and the American Turf Association are identical and are as follows: Jan. April. July. Oct. Age. Feb. .May. Aug. Nov. 1 March. Juno. Sept.
