Start good for all but Sallie Barry. Won driving; second and third the same. Georgia Girl, away fast and running to her best form, showed superior speed and 7 stainina in a long drive and gamely held La Soucr safe in the closing strides. La Soucr was a forward G and game contender all the way and finished fast, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Apache 7 worked his way through gradually and finished close up and gamely. Una closed a gap in a rough trip and suffered from Interference. Knox Boyd ran fairly well and was close up at the end. Silver Cup ran 7 in improved form. Sallie Berry ran away a mile before the start and the others were dispatched without 6 her. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Won handily; second driving; third the same. 7 Asteroid, away well and lucky throughout, forced a fast pace to the stretch and. standing the final drive 7 gamely, won going away. McAfee, away slowly, had to overcome much interference in the early stages, but finished with a rush and was best. Durable was in a jam through the early stages, but closed a big gap, finished fast and can do much better. Constantly was going fast when she ran out on the stretch turn. Esther Brown ran in much improved form and was a forward contender all the way. Feast forced a fast pace in the early stages and outstayed Brimmer in the closiug drive. The latter showed the most speed for a half, but tired in the drive through the stretch as if short. Agnes Dorothea closed up a big gap and put up a good performance. Ansonia was gaining fast at the end. Linda Lake was in a jam most of the way. Florence X. was practically left at the post and not persevered with. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Al Muller, probably best at the weights, showed superior early speed, but tired near the end and succumbed in the closing strides of a game finish. Momentum ran in improved form, and was close up all the way. Platoon tired after going a fast half. Dew of Dawn ran fairly well and will improve. Rebel Queen, awav slowly and poorly ridden, ran far below her best form. Pat Ornus will improve. St. liario can do much better. Overweights Dew of Dawn, 3 pounds. rT OOO Ci. Besterling ran a good race, closed a big gap and finished fast. Ilarting, outpaced for the first half, gained steadily through the stretch after saving ground on the turn. Donna quit badly after going a good three-quarters and may have been short. Dash-away ran a bad race and was a distant trailer all the way. Scratched 7202.! Dr. McCluer, much the best, was excessively urged in the early stages in setting the pace and tired at the end. Vinccntio forced the early pace, but tired badlv when called on in the stretch. Nine, badly outpaced for the first three-quarters, came with a rush in the stretcii and finished wearing Vinccntio down. Fonsoluca quit after going well for a mile.
