TO PROVIDE BREEDING BUREAU SIRES. San Francisco. al.. January V -Martin Nathan son has arranged the conditions fee the first of the races designed to provide stallions for the California Breeding Bureau. The initial race of this class is scheduled for next Monday and will lie a mile and a sixteenth, with the following conditions: Purse. $ i0O. of which 0 to second and 0 to third, for stallions four years old and upward, ten p»unds below the scale, the winner to be donated o the Breediug Bureau of the New California Jockey Club after the race. All other horses In the race to be subject to claim for $.".00 as per claiming rule governing sidling races. Anolher race with the same conditions at six furlongs, will be run the following Thursday. II is the idea of President Vil Hams to have at least two races of this type each week until the breeding bureau is equipped with the requisite number of stallions.
