MR. DUR YEAS WINTER RECREATION. Memphis. Teiin., January 8. — Herman B. Duryea. president of the United States Field Trial Club and wealthy turfman racing a large stable on the metropolitan tracks, is devoting his attention for the present to preparations for the holding of the annual field trials at Grand Junction. Mr. Duryea and a parly of eastern friends are now at his Hickory Valley preserves and his hunting dogs, entered in the Derby. All Age Stake and Champion ship Stake, which are to be decided next Week, are being coached by Duryea and his traiuer. Mr. Avant.
