CANADIAN FAVOR FOR THE THOROUGHBRED. Ontario Jockey Club to Award Prizes to Half-Bred Foals — Phelan Buys Bassetlaw, Toronto, out.. February L5.— The directors of the Ontario Jockey Club have announced a plan for the encouragement of horse breeding in Ontario which has been under consideration for some time, and which should do much for the improvement of the half-bred horses of the country.
